Nice naan, fairly sweet. Not exactly packed with coconut- it’s only sprinkled with it on the top- but I find that restaurants tend to oversweeten their peshwari naans anyway. 4*

Very rich, heavy flavour- you wouldn’t want much of this. This is reasonably tasty, but too full-of-tomato, dark and pungent for my taste. Eat this with chilli chicken or Mexican style mince. Would be gorgeous if accompanied with chorizo or chargrilled prawns.
These sausages are pretty awful. They aren’t bready like many tinned sausages, they’re solid and soft at the same time. It literally feels like I’m chewing on plastic, and they have the standard “hotdog” flavour of tinned American sausages, only worse. The beans are perfectly fine, if a little on the solid side, and the… [Read More]
Looks like tape worm in a mug. Not very appetising. Even after the 5 minute guideline, the noodles are still crunchy. Nice Chinese flavours but a bit weak- though perhaps I added too much water. I had either a massive mug or a tiny mug, and I decided I’d rather be able to fit it… [Read More]
A rich lobster flavour really comes through the mixture. The smoothness of the texture resembles the smoothness of real lobster. Gorgeous flavour. If you find it for £2 or more, knock a star off.
Not a good curry. Very much like a chip shop curry. Barely any chicken. Doesn’t taste BAD. Nice and cheap, filling.
Reasonably tasty. Actual pieces of chicken, some of them almost an inch long! Nice, easy microwave instructions. Nice idea. More chicken then expected, and more than it first appears. Not bad!
These are large pieces of pasta, which has a “resize” effect- it makes the meal look quite small in the pan, because you can count the number of pasta tubes! The pasta is overcooked, a horrible squelchy soft. I’ve had worse (think school canteen meals) but it could do with more bite, texture-wise. It could… [Read More]
The noodles have no texture, flavour or vigour. Nicely surprised by real pieces of chicken, albeit tiny. Authentic Chinese flavour, but no SUBSTANCE. Feels a bit like eating the sauce from a chinese dish, but without the dish. Tasty enough, would have again. Serving suggestion: add your own pieces of chicken/mushrooms. Though, admittedly, this kind… [Read More]
I anticipated these to be really, truly godawful. Having worked myself up into a state while cooking these, the time finally came to taste a meatball. These are very soft, aside from the gritty little pieces in every meatball, the identity of which I do not wish to know. They look and taste extremely artificial-… [Read More]
