ASDA Vegetarian Mac ‘N’ Cheese Leeks

Bought this, reduced, and spontaneously, when I already had far too much in my shopping basket. Never go to ASDA when you’re hungry and you’ve just been paid.

This would be a decent main course on its own, but I thought I’d have it as a side dish with my lasagne & salad. In a haze of red wine I didn’t get a picture of the finished article, apart from this one spoonful (ignore the lasagne and fries in the background).

But, this was deliciously rich, with a satisfying crunchy crust, and the leeks cut through the fattiness and make it almost a ‘healthy’ side dish. We were very impressed, and would totally have it again.
