Island Delight Jamaican Brown Stew Lamb with Rice

8.5 mins in the microwave from frozen.

Crap packaging, need to cut the film with a knife to get the contents out.

Nice smell, quite sweet.

“Spice Level: 3” (out of 3), according to the box. The result was disappointing, with only a touch of chilli that tastes vaguely Mexican. Has the richness of a korma. I’d absolutely hate to see a spice level 1 or 2.

The overall flavour is SALT. I’m quite used to frozen meals being a bit bland and tasteless – this is not. But it goes too far the other way and is quite overpowering with the salt.

Tastes nice, and nice & easy to cook. Worth stocking a couple in the freezer.
