Sainsbury’s Coriander and Lemon Savoury Couscous
Unlike the Ainsley Harriot cous cous I’m used to, this requires a lot of faffing about- not simply a case of adding water and waiting! I had to heat oil in a pan, stir fry the cous cous for a minute, add water, cover it, remove from the heat, leave to stand for 5 minutes, and return to heat for a minute before separating with a fork and serving. That’s a lot of instructions for a student who just wanted a quick lunch!
Very nice taste. The lemon isn’t overpowering, though I think the coriander is a little on the subtle side.
The cous cous itself is a bit dry.
Cheap, cheerful food, and healthy, which makes a change in the typical student diet. But a bit of a hassle to cook.
