Tesco Finest Cottage Pie

I may be the only person in the world who had this with charred broccoli and ranch dressing. It was a winning combo though.

I apologise for the particularly bad second picture, which may have been somewhat distorted by the beer or two I’d had beforehand.

It tasted better than my photography would suggest. A rich, meaty mince layer with a creamy mash. But can’t say I tasted any dijon mustard, and the topping didn’t crisp up as much as I’d have liked.

I split this with one other person and was still kinda hungry, though if I’d had it all for myself it would probably be too much. For a RRP of £3.70 I’d hope for a slightly bigger portion to make that 50:50 split a bit less painful.
