Iceland Lamb Balti with Pilau Rice
A gorgeous, rich taste of lamb permeates throughout the whole sauce.
This is a little on the spicy side for a balti.
Although the cooking process is a little bit of a faff, the rice does end up wonderfully fluffy and light.
The lamb is delicious and tender and there is plenty of it. The pieces don’t appear too fatty or gristly either.
The peppers don’t really seem to do anything exciting for the dish.
A slow microwave cooking time and a relatively high ready-meal price are to be expected with a meal of this quality. I have no reservations in giving this 5*.
