Kohinoor Bombay Egg Curry cooking sauce

I saw this in Tesco and just had to give it a try.

At £1.49, it’s a decent sized sauce that opens nicely from the packaging. No eggs in it, of course; you’ll have to hard-boil these yourself. The shelling is a bit of a pain but this isn’t pitched as a quick, easy meal!

The sauce is thick and rich without being too heavy; it lets the eggs handle that bit. I don’t know quite how I managed it all in one sitting, but four eggs was far too much!

Makes for a very impressive side dish or a meal in itself.
