Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Chicken with Butternut Squash Rice

A garlicy, sweet, almost BBQ flavour sauce with crisp carrots, with generous pieces of chicken and sweet red onion.

The flavours are subtle and the sauce isn’t too oily. The rice is nothing special – it tastes like own-brand instant rice, only with some flavourless cubes of vegetable in it.

It’s a nice meal, but with the exception of the chicken, it feels a little cheap and is certainly not worthy of the elevated £3.40 price tag. You very much get the impression that you’re paying for the brand name, not the food.
