2 servings. Microwavable. Ring pull lid. Nice and easy. Bit of an odd cheese sauce – slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Still, I ate it all. Can’t have been that bad. And it went down very quickly despite it being two servings!

Seriously impressive that this is under 300 calories. Portion size looks about the same as any microwave meal and it looks pretty tasty! The root vegetable mash is pretty good and the sausages have a nice processed texture to them, and the ingredients look good. But man alive, this gravy is watery and flavourless. Such… [Read More]
Nice and convenient – microwaves in under two minutes, no difficult assembly. Long lasting. The meal is mostly sauce, with bits of rice and small fragments of mince in it. It’s very wet. You’ll use a spoon for this. The sauce itself has a spicy chilli kick. Tastes like a perfectly respectable chilli. Shame there’s… [Read More]
Only 3 pieces of chicken, though they’re big chunks. 1 of your five a day- that’s good. The sauce has quite a kick to it. And the rice isn’t particularly “fragrant”. Meh.
Chewy, hard base. 2 rashers of slightly flabby bacon. 1 sachet of ketchup. Easy and cheap. The bread is the real let-down here. 3*
Decent amount of chicken, but not overwhelming. Reasonably tender but I’ve had better. Quite oily, and a little on the expensive side. Tastes good and authentic, but a little overpriced for what it is.
These are a taste of my childhood*. * not really – we were too cheap for these – but THERE’S A CHEESE STRING!! We used to have cheese strings! Two wraps, four thin slices of chicken, a cheesestring and a squirt of BBQ sauce. It was quite a fun, nostalgic snack, and for £1.50 I… [Read More]
A little disappointing on first appearance – not much pasta here. But when you add the water and leave it, it does expand to be something more substantial. That said, hard to know where to fill the water to – the fill line is on the outside. The pasta ends up a little chewy –… [Read More]
Very creamy and decadent. For me, the spinach is a little too long and stringy and would have benefited from being blended first. There is too much emphasis on the cream and not enough on the cheese- I like a flavoursome, browned cheese on the top; this cannelloni didn’t deliver. *Review from May 2013
Deliciously crispy chicken coating, with moist chicken breast. Jasmine rice is the perfect level of stickiness and complements the meal well. A good katsu curry. The downside is that the chicken has to be cooked in the oven for twenty minutes. Bit of a faff.
