Sainsbury’s Spaghetti with Spicy Meat & Vegetable Meatballs

The ragu is not rich, it’s basically tinned tomatoes with some garlic. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing special.

There’s a pitiful quantity of cabbage, which just about tips the balance for it being 1 of your 5 a day.

The meatballs allegedly contain beef and pork, but all I can taste is vegetable. It’s bland, the texture lacks substance, but there is a spicy afterkick. Turns out they’re 32% beef and 8% pork, so that leaves 60% mystery! There is an impressive 20.9g of protein in the pack, though.

It was simple to cook, and relatively healthy. But it was really quite disappointing! Gains stars for simplicity and healthiness alone.
