Posh packaging – got a little cardboard flap to show you more info you’re unlikely to read.

Slippy packaging too – it all slides out of the plastic and onto the plate like a satisfying non stick pan.

Portion looks meagre when emptying out each individual compartment, but it goes a long way.

Creamy like a korma, but with a chilli kick.

Plenty of chicken, though it’s a little on the dry side.

The Dahl tries to keep things interesting but tastes quite chewy. Lentils underdone. But it does add a healthy element to the meal.

Tasty, filling, reasonably nutritious – but £4.50 RRP! Can’t quite forgive that. 3* on balance.
