This is like an Indian take on spicy meatballs. Tasty sauce with just enough chilli, and a fairly generous quantity of meatballs. However, the meatballs taste cheap and don’t compare to ordinary cuts of lamb. This is like a doner kebab thrown into a spicy sauce. For £1.50, this is acceptable.
A surprisingly cheesy sauce, given this is Weight Watchers. Quite nice. Not much of a mushroom flavour, and the potato wedges are a bit dry. Not bad for £1-£1.50, don’t pay anything more.
Not really a naan bread, more of a wrap. Quite a messy eat. Tasty enough, but a bit sickly. Will give you bad garlic breath!
Tasty, more tomato-ful than appears on the front cover. Ate with two mini peshwari nans- good combination. Wasn’t as substantial as I’d hoped. Felt almost like a standard microwave curry without the rice.
Immediate failings: this comes in bags that are difficult to poke holes in during the first step of cooking and dangerous to empty once the cooking is finished. Not keen on the sausages, the flavour is overly smokey and not particularly nice. However, these frankfurters are at least REAL, unlike the standard rubbish so-called-sausages you get in tins of bangers ‘n’ beans.
