Flavourless, filling food. This gives chicken tikka a bad name- the tiniest bits of chicken, with a hot, spicy kick. The lasagne itself is ok- fairly rich and creamy. The chicken tikka combination isn’t unpleasant, or even weird, just underwhelming. Still, not bad for £1.

Distinctly underwhelming portion size. Nice smell of pepperoni. Kind of like having just the pepperoni and tomato sauce of a pizza. Real pieces of pepperoni, but not many. Probably cost all of 30p to make. Feel a bit ripped off. Quite a spicy sauce, slight kick at the back of the throat after each mouthful…. [Read More]
A bit sickly, small portion size, overpriced, and doesn’t look at all appetizing. However, it tastes fairly good and is a quick and easy snack. Not bad.
Eurgh. A bit bland, stodgy and tasteless. Overly sweet. Not having this again.

There’s very little ham to speak of, and even less mushroom. A satisfyingly thick sauce, but leaves you wanting. The ham tastes suspiciously like spam and doesn’t do much for… [Read More]
Tasty, indulgent creamy sauce, and plentiful pieces of succulent chicken. Nice, smoky bacon, though this makes the dish too salty.
Tastes like it’s been made with the cheapest ingredients. Sauce is overpowered with tomato and is otherwise a bit flavourless. The sausage is quite tasty and almost makes up for the carbs that it is… [Read More]
There is far too much basil in this. The spaghetti really is just like tinned spaghetti. In other words, far too soft, especially for spaghetti bolognese. There are tiny pieces of mincemeat, you will genuinely struggle to see them.
When you open this tin, you’d be forgiven for being daunted by the task of eating its contents. It’s set like jelly and looks vile, and as you spoon it into a dish ready for microwaving, cutting through some overcooked penne pasta, you’ll think you’ve made a big mistake. But don’t despair! You have in… [Read More]
