Bastard hot (temperature wise). Somehow retains its heat for ages. Do not eat in a hurry. Strong Thai flavour. Not much chicken. Separate compartments keeps the rice really sticky – but may also serve as a disguise for smaller portions. I’m onto you, Tesco! Tasty, but I was still hungry afterwards.

Lots of packaging. Fork provided, so no washing up. Strong kick of chili – really quite spicy actually! Moderate lemongrass flavour. Enjoyed that much more than expected.
Tasty, nice Thai flavours, goes well with Sainsbury’s own Thai Rice. 40 seconds only makes it lukewarm, so ignore the microwave instructions and pop it in for a bit longer. Overpriced for the amount you get, so loses marks there.
Really gorgeous thai curry smell. Don’t let the word “soup” fool you- I tried eating this with a spoon and struggled! This is principally a noodle dish and you’ll need chopsticks or a fork.
